Our Story
Owner of By The Sea Yacht Management, Jodee Winter, has worked in the marine industry in many forms for 30 years. She started By The Sea Yacht Management in 2015 as a single mom of 2.
Her career in the marine industry started at age 18. She joined the US Coast Guard and worked on a 378’ cutter as a machinery technician. After her 4 years, she was a parts manager at a local boat dealer on Oahu and then moved to California to work as a service manager for Bayliner and Meridian yacht division for Southern California.
In 2001 she moved to Washington working with local boat repair facilities and boat yards.
She has a passion for boats and being out on the water. “I have the best job & and have always felt that boat owners are the nicest, friendliest people,” says Jodee.
